We're making room for the baby so I had to get the garage ready to accommodate all the junk we're sure to acquire.
This takes place over an hour and a half.

Hondo Canyon

Justin and I hiked Hondo Canyon today, Stan came along too. Its a little less than 4 miles each way and has some pretty killer views at the top.

Ice House Canyon

Hiked ‘Ice House Canyon’ with my dad today. Its on Mt. Baldy, we were on the trail for almost 6 hours. The intention was to go snowshoeing but the lack of snow got in the way. We eventually found some off the side of the trail and messed around for a bit but definitely didn’t get to walk through fields of powder like we had hoped.

Yup, after weeks of waiting we’ve confirmed its a BOY!!! Everything is in tip-top shape and forming nicely. Some video will be up soon but until then here’s some pics to wet your whistle :)

Busted

Drove to Big Bear alone on Saturday to get another day of snowboarding in before going back to work. Caught an edge and landed on my wrist, sprained it pretty severely and compacted a few bones. No big breaks but a hairline fracture so they put it in a cast. Can’t ride bikes or boards for 6 weeks :(

Thanksgiving in Bend '08

Went to Bend, Oregon for Thanksgiving with Rif’s sister Megan. Did some walking, shopping & biking. It was bomber!

New Tent!!

I’m pretty stoked on the new tent I got from Eldorado Outdoors. Its called the 3-Second Flash Tent and all the poles are integrated. I’ve looked at tents like this in the past but all of them (including ones by big brands like Columbia) are flimsy and had a reputation for breaking after a few uses. This tent is different though. The locking system (which is what usually breaks on the other instant tents) is super beefy and will surely last a lot longer than I will probably even get to use it!

Property in Seattle

You may remember that I donated to the ‘I-5 Colonnade,’ an urban mountain bike park in Seattle. In turn they engraved stones with each donors name in them that are being cemented into the entrance, pretty cool!

Rif had her family reunion in Tahoe at her sister’s house. 7 of the 8 siblings were able to come and the only one who couldn’t had a damn good reason.
